I am blown away by these photos. I'm not in retail, but have been reading how awful things are on Maui, and I had bought it. I guess it's the same old story where you can spin anything any way at all to suit your needs.
The press needs to sell papers, and negative sensationalism does that.
Ron needs to help people do better and positive attitudes help him do that.
It's like a "lipstick on a pig" comment gets more attention than thousands of American lives lost in Iraq gets.
I wonder if we would be happy if everything was just fine.

Hey Myra,
I feel for you.
We have been using Ron's books and selling system for years now, but before we brought him on board we lived in "Red Light City" too.
All I can say is, believe what you read in the book, and if you get lucky enough to hear Ron talk, do what he says, because it works. He knows his stuff! We are a different company today than we were "pre Ron".

Aloha Ron,
Unfortunately my Maui store looks too much like some of those you call red lights. Like many of my Lahaina neighbors I was of the opinion that it wasn't our fault; that it couldn't be helped, that we were doing our best with the economic situation. I was putting all of the blame on President Bush and none on myself.
It was quite eye opening to see my own town through more objective eyes. I will be ordering your book today. Thank you for the wake up call. I hope it's not too late.

Yes, Maui is No Ka Oi, and I thank you Ron for saving its name from the disgrace the news has attempted to lay upon it. Maui is only suffering where people are too lazy to get up and meet the challenges. There will always be challenges and always winners in the face of them. Maui itself is a winner.

Yes! Ron, again you have shown that attitude is everything. Well....along with a good dose of your selling advice. :) Thank you for the great photo tour of Kaanapali and Lahaina.
