Both major candidates seem more concerned with scoring points, pandering to different groups or sides… gaining power, instead of what is best for this country, and actually Constitutional.

Please read the e-mail I just received from Barack Obama,
After the debate Barack was on his computer e-mailing to his supporters to be certain they got the gist of his message in the debate.
My guess is that John McCain passed out and slept like a log. The energy Barack shows is what it takes to run this country. John is a tired old man that should be home with his feet up. The guy would never last as president, and then we would have that mad woman in Alaska running the show. EEEEEK!

I just finished my first debate with John McCain.
Millions of Americans finally got a chance to see us take on the fundamental choice in this election — the change we need or more of the same.
I will provide tax cuts for the middle class, affordable health care, and a new energy economy that creates millions of jobs. John McCain wants to keep giving huge tax cuts to corporations, and he offered no solutions for the challenges Americans are facing in their daily lives.
I will end the war in Iraq responsibly, focus on defeating al Qaeda and the Taliban, and restore America’s standing in the world after eight years of disastrous policies. John McCain wants an unending commitment in Iraq and fails to recognize the resurgent threat in Afghanistan.
Let’s be clear: John McCain is offering nothing but more of the same failed Bush policies at home and abroad that he has supported more than 90% of the time in the Senate.
Americans need change now, and I need your help to get the word out about this movement.
In the coming days, it’s going to be up to you to organize locally and reach the voters that are going to decide this election.

The best comeback comment of all was when Barack said, “I have a bracelet too John. The mother that gave it to me asked me to be sure that no other mother would have to go through what she did.”
John McCain may be “proud as punch” of our fallen war heros, but Barack Obama is right when he said, “We shouldn’t have gone in there in the first place.”
4,000 plus American boys have died needlessly in a stupid war fueled by ego and greed in Washington. ENOUGH Already; let’s get the Hell out of there, and NOW!

It was John Kennedy vs. Richard Nixon all over again. The up and coming, refreshing candidate vs. the unsure sneaky dude.
Kennedy won, and they had to kill him to eventually get Tricky Dick into the White House.

Following the debate there was an interview with democratic VP Joe Biden. They made it a point to mention that Sarah “Who” was invited and declined. What’s that all about? In case you can’t figure it out, here’s what it is. The republican party is embarrassed by McCain’s VP choice, and have her holed up somewhere.
I am predicting that if McCain makes it all the way to November, Sarah Palin won’t be on the ticket. Want a clue? Look at who filled in for her tonight; NY Mayor, Rudy; that’s who he should have picked to begin with.

McCain obviously would not be able to look into the eye of a world leader adversary; hell, he couldn’t even make eye contact with Obama. This was a mismatch.
