It is absolutely amazing the lengths that people will go to justify doing what they want to do. Everybody seems to know someone who did this or that to rationalize their own behavior. The fact is that eating meat NEVER hurt ANYONE except the poor defenseless animals that were slaughtered to satisfy their taste buds. Well, maybe the Karma of the carnivores as well.
Science is finally catching up with what some have known for centuries. I hope that the critics of Ron's post read the link to the CBS News story that he is referring to hear. This is not a matter of one person's belief.

Reality Check plays Devil's Advocate for sometimes pompous people like me! I look forward to his commentary - it keeps me in line and sets up the boundaries for self righteous responses. Way to go, thanks!

Reality Check is really funny. He or she should do a comedy routine and perhaps do it at charity events or at open mike nights somewhere.

I know a guy who tried to give up meat. He fainted and when he went to the hospital they told him he was extremely anemic. I turned him on to the Eat Right for Your Blood Type protocol by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, I've been doing it for fourteen years. He blood is type O, they have a ton of stomach acid and meat is the dense food all that acid needs or a type O can break down his own tissue and wind up with all sorts of inflammatory or autoimmune conditions. Smaller portions is where we all need to go in this country.

A month ago the meat manager at our Publix supermarket met with me so I could special order some turkey, ginger, apricot sausages, and I guessed he was a type O because he had horrible bleeding psoriasis all over, but visible on his finger. He said he was O negative, with even more stomach acid, and he was drinking orange juice every day, more unnecessary acid. He is off the O.J. and he is healing. We talked a long time and he made some changes and is getting better.

One barbequed burger has enough carcinogens as 400 cigarettes. Beef is okay for type O and type B, but grill sparingly. I eat turkey burgers. Eating is like selling. If you do enough things right, it is okay if you still do a few things wrong. The secret to longevity is less food. Make your calories count as much as you can, and maintain muscle mass and bonemass, flexibility and live your life so you can sleep at night.

Reality Check, keep us laughing, you are funny on a regular basis. Humor is vital, don't you think?

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!
I would rather live a few less years with my burgers and steaks than have an extended life of spinach. Popeye was only a cartoon. I need my protein.
As for exercise, I used to get a lot and then we got a TV with a remote.

Modern Medicine has provided solutions with medications that sometime can make the problem worse. Some of us neglect the responsibilites of eating right and exercising regularly. I sometimes have to say to myself (When I don't want to exercise, or eat right) that if I didn't have my health, all the riches in the world would not matter. Learn to take control of your health even if you don't have any particular ailments. I promise you will see results. Exercising and eating healthy are vital to a diease free happy productive life.
