Additionally, I find it hysterical when I see the following phrase in forum topics similar to this one: "WE must go in there and...." Who is "we"? Try to replace "We" with the name of your son or daughter. Now replace it with "I". It doesn't quite roll off the tongue, does it?

"Clearing out the bad guys" is easier said than done, isn't it? I'm all for the war as I have a vested interest in the matter however, I don't quite understand the rhetoric here. The average American does not understand "the cost" as so casually mentioned. I personally believe that as a father of an American Soldier, Ron truly understands "the cost" and was simply attempting to promote a thoughtful, rational, and meaningful discussion here. It hurts to see people on either side of the aisle participate in "us vs. them" discussions. Personally, I think its unpatriotic. Read the news paper, visit some websites, perhaps even do a little bit of research, while you "rest easily at night". It comes at a cost.... paid for by parents, daughters, sons, wives, and husbands. Think about the price that you have paid for your freedom thus far. I'm sure that if we conduct an audit, Ron and his wife are in the green. Given your quick response, you certainly have been bouncing checks with your statements.

Twitter is for the birds and Ron is full of what they drop from the trees. We MUST go in there and clear out the bad guys so that we can rest easily here at home; no matter the cost.

I agree totally with Ron's feelings about Obama's decision. I suspect that he is sucking up to the war mongering Republicans on the hope of getting some of their votes on health reform.
