What a great story!

I'm reminded of a day waaaay back in the 80's. I was a new manager and had just flew from Maui to Honolulu for a meeting. When I walked into your office, my jaw fell must have fell on the ground, astonished by how beautiful your desk was and how awesome the view out the window. I was so intimidated by it all! I don't remember what I said but I'll never forget what you said. You looked up from your papers, smiled and simply said "we're just people."

I never forgot that and those words have served me ever since. I learned to never let what something or someone "looks like" prejudge my actions in sales...or in life!

Ron, the view and the desk are NOTHING without the man behind it.

Enjoy!!!

that is such a cool story. reminds me of video taping for you the very first time. i really enjoyed taping your event, and soon internalized everything you said, put a lot of it into action, found that it worked just as you said it would, and thought- "i got paid to do this?" It was the best video project i ever had the opportunity to perform, and that is an understatement.
Thanks for that experience Ron. this message was intended to compliment you and add to your goose bumps. Aloha, john rogers, a video solution honolulu

Aloha back Patty and Mahalo for the kind words.
Everyone remember that you can't give away anything in this life, as it all comes back multiplied. So in reality, "giving" is the most selfish act you can perform.

Aloha Ron,
I am thrilled to read this saga of how one gives the message, it is received, it is
internalized and then comes back not to bite you but to compliment you...
On top of that the cream is that you continue to give and the giving is part of the karma of life.

You are an INSPIRATION and they work for a company named...INSPIRATION.

How you figga?

mahalo,
