Word Power

Use Good Ones
Whether you are talking to yourself, or to someone else, be aware of the words you choose to use. If you could see a text of everything you said and thought during the day you would be amazed. The words you use are powerful “thought triggers” to your brain. Some of those thoughts inspire you to do great  things, some lead you to new ideas to benefit your future. On the other hand some can hold you back and cause you to accept less from life that you can have. Here are some tips that will help you trigger the thoughts you should want.

“One who wants to finds a way, one who doesn’t finds an excuse.”
When talking about results, eliminate the words “They” and “Them.” Those are words that place the control and responsibility on someone other than you. Instead say, “I” and “Me.”
Eliminate “Everybody” and “Nobody.” I hear things like, “Everybody is at the beach today” and, “Nobody is buying today.” Instead say, “Some people are at the beach today” and “Some people are not buying.”
Look for solutions not excuses and you will find positive results.
