“Lemon Tree, Very Pretty…”

“But the Fruit of the Poor Lemon is Impossible to Eat”

NOT TRUE: Those were the words of a popular folk song recorded in the 60’s by Peter, Paul and Mary. But as you will discover below, they are far from true.

The following is condensed from an e-mail sent to me by a good friend in Florida that I affectionately call, “Runaway.” She earned that title by running away with all of the awards at our monthly Success Rallies.
Mahalo Runaway.

Here’s a unique way to use the whole lemon without wasting any of it.

Place the washed lemon in the freezer section of your refrigerator. Once frozen, use your grater, to shred the whole lemon; peel included, and sprinkle it on top of your foods.
Sprinkle it on vegetable salad, ice cream, soup, cereals, noodles, spaghetti sauce, rice… Anything!
Your foods will unexpectedly have a wonderful taste, something that you may have never tasted before. Most people only think of lemon juice and vitamin C. Not anymore.
There’s a major advantage of consuming the whole lemon. lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more vitamins than the lemon juice itself.
By simply freezing the whole lemon, then grating it on top of your food, you can consume all of those nutrients while getting even healthier.
Know that lemon peels are health rejuvenators in eradicating toxic elements in the body. Lemons (Citrus) are a miraculous product that kills cancer cells. They are 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy. Their taste is pleasant and they do not produce the horrific effects of chemotherapy.
The lemon tree is known for its varieties of lemons and limes. You can eat their fruit in different ways: you can eat the pulp, juice press, prepare drinks, sorbets, pastries, etc… Lemons are credited with many virtues, but the most interesting is the effect they produce on cysts and tumors.
Lemons are a proven remedy against cancers of all types. Some say they are very useful in all variants of cancer. They are considered also to be an anti microbial spectrum against bacterial infections and fungi, are effective against internal parasites, and they regulate blood pressure when it is too high. They also act as an antidepressant, relieve combat stress and nervous disorders.

And, as a bonus, therapy with lemon extract only destroys malignant cancer cells and it does not harm healthy cells.
So, give those lemons a good wash, freeze them and grate them. Your whole body will love you for it!!!!!

After grating the entire lemon, do you then put that back in the freezer and sprinkle it on things in a frozen state, or how do you store and use the grated stuffs? I put half a lemon (the juice because its easy and quick) into my green healthy drink every am, lemon juice also stimulates your liver to release bile which is how your liver gets rid of unwanted things, that is a huge additional benefit to add to runaways list. The liver filters our blood and dumps toxic things via the bile which goes into our GI tract directly and out. BTW- I almost alwways really like runaways comments on your blog in general. :-) John Rogers
