Stuck in Vancouver

 Keep Smiling!

It isn’t always easy to keep smiling when things are not going as they should, but you should.
My patience is being put to the test right now as I sit on a Continental jet in Vancouver when we should be in the air flying to Houston.

Just last night I was talking to a group of managers about the importance of using check lists, and I mentioned airline pilots as an example. Just before take off this morning our pilot saw something wrong on his check list and returned to the gate for the mechanics to check it out.

Having got up at 4:30 AM to catch this flight, it was a bit annoying to say the least.

We were given the opportunity to stay on the plane or get off. Almost everyone got off. I see it as an opportunity to get some work done completely uninterrupted.

Stay Tuned!

Making the best of any situation, and smiling while doing it, is a great attitude to have.

Hope you can take off soon.

The Great attitude is ALWAYS with Ron….. It is a “gift” to be around him and we can all learn from the “let’s get some work done” attitude. “Stuff happens” and Ron see an opportunity in any of these events to make it a positive moment! Most of us most likely would have been the “pissed ones” at the airport counter…..
