Retail Selling Made Easy kept handy!

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

rsme-in-door.JPGWhen INspiration, Vancouver manager Vanessa took me to lunch today, I was deeply impressed by the well used copy of Retail Selling Made Easy that she keeps in the door pocket of her car.
She said that when she has friends in the car, that they invariably pick it up read it and comment on it.
I think I need to “Inspire” her with a commission opportunity to sell it.

Grouse Mountain; Vancouver BC

bear-feeding-at-grouse-mountain.JPGI had a chance to advertise Brighton today, when Steen Skaaning took me to the top of Grouse Mountain above Vancouver, BC. Check it out here: http://www.grousemountain.com/

Grouse Mountain is a major local ski attraction in the winter time, and just an all around beautiful spot in the summer. A gondola takes you on a magnificent sight seeing trip to 4,100 feet above sea level in eight minutes.

One of the highlights of Grouse Mountain is the living quarters for Grinder and Koola; two full grown grizzly bears that were abandoned as cubs. They were rescued and brought to Grouse Mountain to live out a peaceful life in a huge enclosure built just for them.
They were napping today, (I was jealous) so we did not get a good look at them.

Traveling Can Be Exhausting

travel-a-bitch.JPGThis is the sight I saw when I arrived at my gate (at 5 AM) this morning to board the plane to Vancouver.
After an exhausting schedule in Las Vegas I could surely relate to how these guys feel, BUT I couldn’t imagine myself joining them; could you?
